Attack on Titan 3D Maneuver Gear

A beautiful collage complete with bad camera phone pictures, weird color coding and bad MS paint editing.
I sure am glad this gear turned out well. I threw around $80+ into the pants, elastic, and pleather straps alone. The rest of it I just happened to have lying around. I probably shouldn't have bought the pleather straps the way that I did, I should have bought a yard or two of regular pleather but instead I bought it already in strap form. I got a little over 6 yards and only have about 6 inches leftover. I would have bought a sheet of pleather to cut into straps but I was lazy and didn't want to hem anything. This way all I need to hem is the skirt thing (I was lucky enough to find a perfect sized piece of scrap from a previous cosplay) and maybe the square piece. That is made out of craft foam wrapped in white duct tape so it is very strong and flexible but keeps the straps in place. I have some other pleather that I'll probably glue onto the foam. I have used these boots for at least 4 different cosplays now. Wow was I lucky finding those things. My concern now is that I only have $50 left in my savings and I still need to order the jacket and shirt and buy the ticket for the convention. I have a paycheck coming but I honestly have no idea how much that will be. Hopefully enough to buy the rest of this cosplay.
